SHIELD FOUNDATION
Level 1, 2011
Shield Foundation aims to better the life of the elderly,
particularly in low income communities. The project provides
educational, medical, recreational and nutritional services and support
to the elderly population based in low income communities. In addition,
Shield foundation also conducts programs to sensitize the youth towards
issues concerning the elderly and helping build capacity in hospital and
homes that cater to the elderly. Over the next three years, Shield
Foundation expects to impact 1000 elderly individuals. Swati has completed her Masters in Social Work and witnessed several neglected, abused elderly staying with family without any moral or financial support when she decided to create SHEILD FOUNDATION.
